AP US History Sucess Institute Training in Charleston, WV today

The sound of the dryer is going, as I do my laundry to go the WV Center for Professional Development training today  Professional leave for the day, and I am looking forward to this.  Bob has worked 4 ten hour days this week, to be able to take me to the training.

Two years ago when I did this training, success with two kids passing the exam, hoping this will be the key for this year.  Thomas Sleete is wonderful at what he does, and I am so looking forward to doing more with this.

The week of Jan. 28-Feb. 2 2013

For American history class will focus on the differences between the three different regions in the American colonies.  Also we begin looking at the Peculiar institution, and how it shaped colonial society.

Focus areas:  How were women in the colonies treated?
                      How were children regarded?
What was the role of religion.

Hopefully by Friday, The French and Indian War.
