Finally Thanksgiving Break is here.  Starting to think time to get away from FB and maybe blog instead.

2014-2015 School year has finished today, and it has been an interesting one.

School year is ending.  Amazing group of students I have worked with this spring.  Looking forward to seeing their Legacy Projects. next week.  First time I predict that this year group of students are going to do amazing  things with their lives.   Occasionally you get a crew who just make teaching the best job in the world, and I experienced that with this crew.

The school year has went so quickly.  We are doing at Mock Exam on Saturday at the local Library, and I have a class on thirteen great students.  We had a Constitutional Convention, Presidential Brackets for March.  The only problem has been 21 snow days.....

AP US History Success Initiative Training today and tomorrow.  Love getting trainings by Tom Sleete.  Study Books now to recruit the kids and to get them interested in all the work this going to require from me.

AP US History Sucess Institute Training in Charleston, WV today

The sound of the dryer is going, as I do my laundry to go the WV Center for Professional Development training today  Professional leave for the day, and I am looking forward to this.  Bob has worked 4 ten hour days this week, to be able to take me to the training.

Two years ago when I did this training, success with two kids passing the exam, hoping this will be the key for this year.  Thomas Sleete is wonderful at what he does, and I am so looking forward to doing more with this.

Tomorrow I return to work. The summer was so wonderful and doing the Gilder Lehrman was awesome.
